This competition is an extra motivation for all the runners who participate, especially in this time of pandemic that we are living.
Hans mix powerful training works with soft works. The powerful training are performed in the mountains, with considerable slopes, and are very short workouts, no more than 5 minutes, in which he strengthens muscles and gains strength in his arms and chest. The soft training are done on flat floor, longer in duration and it help to catch the physical background and lower heart rate.
Hans trains from 10 to 15 hours by week, interspersing the two types of training mentioned above changing every week: 1 week of strength training, the next one in the background and a third in which he combines the two types. In addition, he trains for a few hours in the gym, doing weights so as not to lose muscle tone and keep the top physical shape to be ready when competitions begin.
Hans continues to be an example of improvement and effort for all of us. We are proud to be part of his sports career.
